Try making smores!

All you need are some chocolate digestives and some gooey marshmallows. If you don't have a gas hob, you could heat your marshmallows under the grill.

Happy Campers!

We are sad to be missing out on our camp this year. Why not make a den and camp out in your living room? Maybe you have a small tent and can camp safely with a grown up in the garden? Here are some songs we share on camp. Have some fun pretending you are sitting around a campfire together.

Here's an example of a road map!

Maths help

This week's MyMaths task is on addition using the bar models again. If you found it tricky, the online lesson is really clear and takes you through the steps you need to complete the task. Here are some tips for using bar models.

This bar model shows 21 and 12 are parts and the whole is 33. We can add the parts to find the whole or total.

21 + 12 = 33

You can use bar models to think about subtraction too!

Remember the whole take away one part leaves you with the other part.

As well as MyMaths you might like to refresh your multiplication skills with the White Rose videos this week. Here is the timetable for the week. You could draw your own jottings and build your own arrays as you watch closely. Click on the timetable for the link.

Female singer-song writer of the week

Bjork chosen by Miss Farrow.

Bjork is a singer-song writer from Iceland who uses a variety of musical styles. My favourite song, 'It's oh so quiet' wasn't actually written by her but I like it because it is upbeat and I enjoy watching the video.
